MIT has canceled tours and information sessions for students who are interested in applying. The admissions office on campus is also closed for the duration of time, but they’re still responding to phones and emails. University officials have assured those whose studies were interrupted due to COVID-19 that they are not penalized during their admissions procedure.

Assisting professors with their work, helping at the library, or teaching juniors All of these are things that students are likely to do to survive. A few hours of time per week for these tasks isn’t difficult or even part-time work. Part-time jobs aren’t a problem also. It’s very manageable.
